An American Dream

Almost unnoticed, the prodigy Eli Russell Linnetz has taken his label to the steps of the Met. He was responsible for the “Famous”and “Fade” videos, as well as the set design for Ye’s The Life of Pablotour, Enigma’s set: Lady Gaga’s residence in Vegas, the shooting of the Yeezy and Skims campaigns, as well as other projects resulting from his meetings with emblematic personalities. One of the most significant of these was with Adrian Joffe (president of Comme des Garçons and the Dover Street Marketconcept store), who launched his career in fashion. With ERL, his label that gives free rein to his creativity, Eli Russell Linnetz praises his native America. His collections are inspired by stuffy proms, overpowering quarterbacks, country opulence, and the rugged look of the North American trapper, producing a casual streetwear style dotted with stars and stripes to the American way. The outsider, from Venice, California, has carved a surprising path to fame, through several disciplines, guiding him to the path that will make him shine – fashion, where he excels. Launched in 2020, the label has already dressed ASAP Rocky for the last Met Ball.
