REDISCOVER THE CASA BATLLÓ

An emblematic building in Barcelona, Casa Batlló called on the Japanese architecture studio Kengo Kuma to enhance the staircase at its heart. Born from the creativity of Antoni Gaudí, Casa Batlló is built around a central patio that illuminates each of the house’s rooms with the colors of the sky and the sea. In keeping with this homage to Mediterranean light, the architect has dressed the staircase with aluminum chain curtains. Finely chiseled, they capture the natural light and play with its reflections in effects of shadows and flashes. An enchanting spectacle!
