To enter Eva Jospin’s cardboard works is to be confronted with petrified forests and mountains. Paper fossil and imaginary, dreamlike huts, the places she creates in cities and institutions offer metaphorical breaths and seem to directly address our ecological consciousness. At the Musée de la Chasse et de la Nature, the branches imagined by the artist will invade the walls and windows, interacting with the animals, objects, and woodwork already in place. The artist plays with the confusion between museographed reality and the creative reconstruction of the forms of nature, following the tradition of the Studiolo, the curiosity cabinets of the Mannerist Renaissance, from which she is openly inspired for this exhibition.
