The Norwegian architectural firm Snøhetta has launched a crazy challenge to restore the Knubben bath to its former glory. Opened in the thirties, this harbor bath situated in Arendal is destined to become a cultural Mecca. Resting on a 750 m² rock, its new architecture will celebrate the Norwegian landscapes where nature is omnipresent. Clean lines, horizontal layers, monolithic concrete: the new structure, which looks like a topographic map, should be as elegant as it is modern. See you in 2024!
