The 2021 session of Paris Design Week promises to be a time of renewal.
From September 9 to 18, Paris Design Week will offer us a new season in Paris, combining creation, know-how, and the art of living on a theme identical to that of Maison&Objet: Desirable Development.Creative paths scattered in 3 districts of the capital. Conferences, Design Factory, exhibitions, ideas laboratory, installations, showroom, workshop… Different areas of expression will be made available to the public to better understand the issues and developments in the design sector. Among the 200 accessible addresses exist many ways to discover the great names of design and the future generation of Designers.
In the previous issue of Acumen, we presented 3 highlights to be discovered. Here are some exhibitions to be discovered in this new issue.
Many of the capital’s historic buildings are being given over to contemporary designers who are installing furniture and monumental works of art. An ephemeral journey that will bring greatness to this 2021 edition.
Hôtel de Sully: Pierre Gonalons, designer and interior architect, will take possession of the gardens of thehotel where the last orangery of Paris is located, with an installation inspired by the gardens of the 17th century. This designer, driven by the visual impact of a setting or an object, should surprise us a lot.

The Mobilier National offers you an installation: a carpet made from the work of Miguel Chevalier, in dialogue with the furniture of designers A+A Cooren.
