LOMM Editions, a family business.

We are in the 1970s, in Montauban. Odile Mir is a self-taught and recognized sculptor when she is noticed by the world of industry. This is how her career as a designer for the manufacturer Delmas began. From her singular sculptures evoking the female body, she will keep the avant-garde aesthetic and her taste for the use of raw materials, such as steel, leather and textile, in the elaboration of her collection of lights and furniture. Her creations mark a turning point in the history of 20th century French furniture. Simple, durable and comfortable, her design is nonetheless inventive and aesthetically pleasing.

Although her work was popularized by the furniture brand Prisunic, her publishing was interrupted until she was rediscovered a few years ago by her granddaughter Léonie Alma Mason, interior designer and founder of the LAM Studio agency. Together they created LOMM Editions in 2021 to give a new lease of life to this highly modern style. From the sculptural finesse of the DUO floor lamp to the collection of furniture of the same name, the publishing house celebrates the intuitive creations of Odile Mir. In respect of the original creations, LOMM has chosen to manufacture responsibly, surrounding itself with local craftspeople to develop a collection in a semi-industrial way. The result is the alliance of two generations, two creative minds at the service of modern life design.
