The Paradisio takes the air at Le Georges

The new summer “hot spot” orchestrated by Emmanuel d’Orazio.
This summer, Sunday evenings will have a festive air on the terrace of the Centre Pompidou!
The Germain Paradisio, the famous club on Rue de Buci, will take over the rooftop of the Georges, the restaurant overlooking the museum.
At the helm of the club, Emmanuel d’Orazio, who staged the burlesque and the late Manko cabaret. Accompanied by his accomplice Jean-Biche for DJ sets mixing italo disco and new wave, they animate dinners and cocktails – including irresistible homemade creations – in front of the sunsets on the rooftops of Paris. For sure, this “hot spot” will give Sunday nights the joy of a Saturday night fever.
Meet Emmanuel d’Orazio.

What kind of atmosphere do you have in store for us this summer at the Paradisio?

The Paradisio organizes several evenings during the week, and I am in charge of Sunday evening. The evening is called “HOT SPOT”. You can dine on the terrace with a unique view of Paris and continue the evening with a drink. All this on the mix italo disco-new wave of Jean-Biche, artist and accomplice of the cabaret Manko.

How to think about partying in these post-Covid times?

We are still in the middle of a coronavirus and we make sure to be very careful. But people also need to see each other and get together, and this party is very timely. We can no longer kiss and shake hands, so we need to adopt a different behavior. The mask doesn’t help but, once again, offering something friendly and festive while respecting each other’s safety is good for everyone.

You participated in the short film The Peep Show: could you tell us a little more about it?

This short film is crazy! It highlights and brings out all our hidden fantasies. It was a great experience for all of us and the result is wonderful. With Marc Zaffuto and Manon Savary, we took care of the artistic direction of this film directed by the talented Clément Dezelus and all the artists of the Manko cabaret.

What are your next projects?

I had projects with Marc Zaffuto, a cabaret in Las Vegas, a new place in Paris… but they are now all postponed because of the coronavirus.
Concerning night and party establishments, we don’t know where we are going yet. For the moment, we are trying to reinvent ourselves, or at least to offer our public and friends opportunities to spend good times together while waiting for all this to end.

Every Sunday between 8 p.m. and 2 a.m.
