“Sphères” art exhibition at 116 rue de Turenne in Paris

Galerie Joseph welcomes the gallery owner Guido Romero Pierini for an art exhibition in Paris bringing together the paintings of Lou Ros and the pictorial work of Pascal Vilcollet, entitled “Spheres”. Pascal Vilcollet – The multifaceted artist

On the one hand Pascal Vilcollet, who spent several years as an illustrator, naturally became a painter. He is known and recognized by his portraits of stars : John Lennon, Andy Warhol, Jean-Michel Basquiat, Marilyn Monroe, Steve McQueen and many others. His removed and colorful style is his trademark. He has eventually moved away from the portrait to explore other topics.

Lou Ros – An autodidact in search of representation in space

On the other side Lou Ros, the unconditional painter of portraits and bodies as subjects. His brushstroke is comparable to that of Bacon, Jenny Saville or Lucian Freud. After starting in graffiti, the artist turned to something more elaborate and constructed.

Former renovated industrial workshop, the space preserved its soul thanks to the visible stones and woodwork of time. The gallery offers a total area of ​​850m² on two floors, including an impressive 12m high glass roof.
